Curriculum PE

PE is as important as Maths and English to a child’s development.

However, with schools under so much pressure to achieve good results in SATS subjects, it can be difficult to give PE the attention it deserves as one of the most important foundations in a child’s overall development.

We are able to work closely with the school and deliver exactly what is needed to give children the opportunity to enjoy a rich and varied curriculum.

Some of our sports and activities include:

Team building
Indoor Curling
Tag Rugby

… amongst others.

We are safeguarding and first aid trained with up to date DBS checks.

We have behaviour mentoring/managing experience.

We also have an up-to-date food hygiene certificate, enabling us to carry out classroom/kitchen based sessions regarding food hygiene and healthy eating.

We are also available to accompany the school out on sports trips where children represent the school in a sporting capacity and help uphold good British sporting values.

It is very important to bring the correct clothing/footwear, in order to enjoy the session to it’s full potential. Please see our check list below but note that it has been devised taking into consideration changes in weather and the use of different parts of the facility where the sessions will be held.

• Shirt.
• Shorts.
• Socks.
• Jumper.
• Tracksuit top.
• Tracksuit bottoms.
• Rain jacket.
• Trainers or AstroTurf trainers (clean for indoors).
• Shin pads.
• Water bottle.

Official Mark Bunn Sports Education Academy clothing will be available to purchase in the near future.
